My MSI GF65 laptop has a thinking i7-10700h with an NVIDIA RTX 3060. Everything works fine except sometimes when I turn the laptop on, the screen just stays blank for a second before it starts loading. If I restart, that problem goes away. Also, there is no sound at all right after turning it on. I tried restarting my Windows Explorer.exe but nothing helped; I had to restart again to fix the sound issue too. The video card says to power off and turn back on when starting, but that didn't work for me either. Even though everything looks installed—drivers are up-to-date and I have Windows 11—I updated my BIOS a few times without luck.

check your Device Manager for any problems. You can also try resetting the BIOS back to the manufacturer's default settings. If there are no error messages or flags in Device Manager about sound, then when you have this problem, check Control Panel > Sound and see what device is selected. If it is actually a good audio output device, make sure it is set up correctly.
