So I installed an anti cheat called Faceit, and it told me to stop using Afterburner. Then I rebooted my computer when launching MSI Afterburner, but even if I disable Faceit completely or turn off the service, this still happens. I tried reinstalling my graphics driver and updating Windows 10, but nothing worked. My specs are Ryzen 7 3800X, an RTX 2080 with 16 GB of memory on a Windows 10 version 1909 system.

I had the same problem last night. I downloaded the latest driver for my graphics card. I used DDU to take out the old driver. Then I rebooted. Now I installed the new driver and rebooted again. This worked for me. Sometimes this is enough. I tried using DDU to remove the current driver, but it didn't help much. I also tried reinstalling Afterburner. But Even after that, my GPU still didn't show up in Device Manager or other software. What fixed it? It was installing the second newest driver for my graphics card.
