Hey! This problem happened to me twice... I had a motherboard before and has some liquid on it (when i cleared it was something yellowish and greenish) My last motherboard keep restarted the pc even if it was switched off and after a while its actually didnt switched on when i wanted. Now my motherboard has same liquid under the GPU (first motherboard has under the gpu too) and the PC keep restarting after a few hours if im using it but no switch on when its switched off. Any idea what happened? What couse this liquid on the motherboard if its a new one? (Im using the PC on the desk, no water and etc. got in the case) I saw a post what has something the same but ON THE GPU... Link:
Check for moisture buildup on the CMOS battery and GPU. Confirm if your environment maintains stable temperature and insulation. Ensure the PC can cool effectively when idle.
It seems there might be a small fan on the GPU providing cool air, and the fans on the motherboard are also working hard. This could help with temperature management.
Share images of your PC's condition. If the view isn't sharp, moisture might be causing the issue and blending with nearby substances, though other causes are possible.
You mean what my gpu looks like ? The gpu was totally clear except that tiny spot what u see on the pictures. Actually i cleared the whole pc already so im waiting now if its happen again. But i really want to know whats going on cuz i dont want to trash one more motherboard bcs of it.
I see three potential explanations. 1.) Possible condensation, though the straight lines raise some doubt. It might have been moisture forming and air movement directing its path. 2.) Lubricant from the fans that was being released. 3.) Oil from a thermal pad, which seems less likely given the setup. I’m wondering if any of these might have occurred, especially since we last talked about it.
