Recently, I reinstalled Minecraft and experience frame rates around 50 frames per second with occasional drops to approximately 5 frames per second. My system specifications are: CPU: Ryzen 7 1700 x, RAM: GSkill Trident Z RGB 16gb 3000 oc, and GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1060 6gb Gaming x. I have already attempted to resolve this issue by updating Java, utilizing OptiFine, and modifying JVM arguments without any improvement.

Minecraft is limited to utilizing four cores, suggesting your AMD processor may not excel in single-core performance. Reduce the draw distance; other settings should not significantly impact your frame rate, considering it's Minecraft. My RTX 2080 Ti and 8700K (6C/12T) running at 5 GHz yield 75 FPS with all settings maximized by lowering the draw distance.

Are there any other programs working properly, aside from the Minecraft problem?

Could you increase your computer's memory for the game?

If uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft doesn’t resolve the issue, try verifying the game files. However, since it's a Windows Store title, that option isn’t available.

Since your last Minecraft session, what has recently changed regarding your system? Focusing on this can help determine if a hardware update or software conflict is causing the issue.

It is not software. My most recent system modification involved a new motherboard, processor, and memory. Prior to this upgrade, my Minecraft performance was significantly lower than it is currently.
