I had to swap out my laptop's SSD because the old one wasn't showing up anymore (it gave me a "no boot device detected" error and didn't show on a USB drive either). After installing the new stick, the computer turns on with fans spinning and the power light is on, but the screen stays black. I can't even see the Lenovo logo. I tried holding down the power button for 20 seconds to turn it off, then pressing F2 when turning back on just in case I could hit BIOS, but the screen is still completely dark. Any help?

Yeah, I think that has made this situation much worse... I tried taking out and putting back the memory sticks, but when I put the new cover in place, there were a few sparks coming from the motherboard near where the RAM sits on the battery side. Now the laptop won't turn on at all. I guess it's too late to try again?
