Hi, so my laptop works perfectly fine if plugged into a charger but turns off when using the battery. If I turn the laptop on and unplug the cable, it will also turn off (sometimes after 5 seconds or sometimes after a few minutes, but not right away). Same thing happens if I try to start up the laptop from the battery; it hits the MSI logo and then shuts down in an infinite loop. I can still access the BIOS menu, but once I exit that and go back to trying to boot, it turns off again. I already tried replacing the battery with a new one, but the problem is still there. Also, when I unplugged the charger, removed the battery, and held down the power button for 30 seconds, that didn't fix anything. EDIT: I changed the "Maximum Processor State" setting on the battery from 100% to 25%, and now the laptop no longer shuts off just by turning it on. However, it still shuts off during the boot process.

Do you make or have a laptop model? When is it, how old is the battery now? It could mean the battery should probably get changed.
