My Initial PC Assembly Experience
My Initial PC Assembly Experience
I'm constructing my inaugural gaming computer; it’s intended as a gift for my sibling. His sole focus will be playing Fortnite and completing assignments on this machine. My budget is $300, and I’ve successfully secured the components—motherboard and hard drive—through a generous donation from a friend who previously owned a gaming PC. The micro-ATX motherboard and 120GB NVMe M.2 storage were acquired for $299, which slightly exceeds my target but is acceptable. I believe I could potentially increase the total cost to around $350 if necessary.
Here are the specifications:
ASUS Prime Q270M-C motherboard
EVGA GTX 460 graphics card
Intel Celeron 4900 processor
LiteOn 120GB NVMe M.2 storage drive
Western Digital 1TB hard drive
FSP Dagger 600W power supply unit
ThermalTake Gravity CPU cooler
Timetec Hynix IC 8GB (4x2GB) RAM
My brother is content with lower graphics settings, but I'm curious about the necessary cables and whether this configuration will function properly. Additionally, could you please identify the required cables and provide Amazon links if available?
I apologize for any shortcomings in my English; I am from Sweden. 😀
