I have had this issue where my gpu ranges from 30-50% usage and i dont know how to get it up. So this is the scene, overwatch is not a problem as it is capped at 60fps but games like subnautica range from 50-80fps with the cpu usage the same and gpu usage still at 30-50 uncapped. It is for sure not a bottleneck as my cpu barely stays at 100% capped and just need to increase gpu usage:
Specs:
GPU- GTX1050
CPU- FX4300
PSU- 450W
RAM- 8gb ddr3
please let me know if there are any solutions or problems with my setup. Thanks

This might indicate the graphics card is operating at its full capacity. However, the GPU doesn't necessarily need to reach 100% utilization for this to be a sign that it is; usage fluctuates considerably during gameplay.

If your processor utilization is at 100% (or frequently near that level when processing a single task), then you have a CPU bottleneck.

I’m experiencing a significant issue with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, as it seems to be allocating nearly 70% of my processor’s resources – a performance factor that isn't indicative of a hardware limitation, yet only 12% of my graphics card is utilized. Consequently, I’m achieving a maximum frame rate of 30 frames per second on low settings, despite having previously experienced 150 fps. I recently retested the game after installing Riva Tuner.

Examine each processor core individually, rather than looking at total system usage. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive frequently has issues with completely saturating a single core’s capacity. In this game, I believe that pushing a 9900k processor to 5.1 gigahertz through overclocking would still limit the performance of a 1050ti graphics card at 1080p resolution.

The central processing units share a comparable design, typically operating between 40 and 70 percent while seldom exceeding 100%, however, my graphics card utilization remains low at 17%, resulting in frame rates of approximately 30-40 on the most basic settings. Even when increased to higher settings, this performance did not improve. The graphics card is clearly the bottleneck, as I previously achieved 150 frames per second with moderate settings and subsequently lowered them.
