My GPU shows code 43 after upgrading from a 980 to a 3070. I’m unsure if this is due to the large upgrade or just performance issues. My PC specs are Prime 390z-A, i7 9700k, 700 w gold PSU. It initially works fine but then frames begin dropping, causing crashes, black screens, reboots, code 43, flickering green, and resolution loss.

how warm it is becoming? fans should spin smoothly during gaming without any issues, no cables in the way? reset the gpu, update the motherboard's bios, use ddu uninstaller to remove both old and current gpu drivers, and reinstall the newest nvidia.com driver. have you checked the system? it might be a faulty gpu.

Never turning on the fans didn't refresh my BIOS, maybe that's why
