Five months ago, I purchased a new HP Omen 15 DC0133TX gaming laptop with the following specifications: Intel ® Core ™ i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHZ, 8GB RAM, and NVIDIA GTX 1050. Previously, I could play Warframe, Minecraft, and CS:GO at 1920x1080 resolution with maximum settings, consistently achieving 140-160 frames per second. Approximately one week ago, I experienced network adapter driver issues that persisted despite reinstalling drivers and factory resetting my laptop using the “Reset This PC” option, which involved removing all data from the hard drive. Following the reset, my network problems resolved, but laptop performance significantly declined, resulting in frame rates of 60-80 fps for Warframe and drops as low as 40fps, alongside reduced performance in Minecraft and CS:GO even when lowering graphic settings. I regularly run driver booster scans and use CCleaner to maintain my system. I have also attempted to optimize Windows 10 settings for enhanced gaming performance, yet these efforts have not yielded satisfactory results. I require assistance resolving this technical issue.

Do not run driver booster scans on any computer. It appears your GPU driver was uninstalled. Visit the Nvidia graphics driver website to download and install it.

Verify NVIDIA drivers. Determine if it's utilizing integrated graphics. Disable NVIDIA Optimus.

Thank you very much for the responses! I have resolved the issue. Using DDU to uninstall my display adapter drivers, then reinstalling them from their original sources instead of using Driver Booster, and switching my preferred graphics processor to High-Performance NVIDIA Processor in the NVIDIA Control Panel fixed it.

I completed that, and my frame rate remains low in all games. Please advise me on how to resolve this issue.

Could you please elaborate? You can contact me on Telegram at yoxoticks and Discord at YoXoticks#2037. I’m still confused about how to make it work, and I would appreciate further explanation.

My laptop is identical to yours and I replicated your steps, yet my frames per second continue to decrease.
