I enjoy playing For Honor, but every time I launch the game in either borderless window mode or full-screen, I experience stuttering and freezing issues. I believe my PCI clip is malfunctioning, causing the GPU to intermittently drop and recover.

I recommend attempting to update your graphics drivers initially.
It’s unlikely that intermittent issues are caused by a failing card; this would lead to driver resets or Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors.
