I received my friend upgrading from a Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 9 5900X. Now it randomly starts blue-screening even after several Windows reinstalls or clean installations. I'm stuck with this issue. My motherboard is an Asrock B450M steel model. I updated the BIOS to the latest version since the board didn't support the new CPU. At this point, I have no further details. As a 5900X owner, I'm leaning toward 5900X plus B450. BIOS updates matter, but strong VRM cooling is essential for Zen3s—especially the 5800X model. Check your current memory configuration. B450 and Zen3 work well as long as the rest of the system is functioning properly.
