While gaming, my CPU and GPU operate at half capacity, and I rarely hit 60fps even on low settings. This wasn't a problem before. I have a Ryzen 5 2600 with an 1060.

Verify temperatures for the initial components. It seems you might be experiencing thermal throttling.

Gpu typically operates at 60°C, while the cpu functions best between 50-65°C.
