Begin with your Huawei router 3 Pro. Check if the speed test results are accurate. If the router displays lower speeds, it might be a display issue. Consider restarting the device or checking for firmware updates. Ensure your internet plan supports the speeds you expect. If problems persist, contact Huawei support for further assistance.

It might be a WiFi problem. The connected tower could be busy. There are many possible causes. I don’t know the specific rules of T Mobiles in your country. In the US, they set a 50 Gig threshold for unlimited data before they start dropping packets, though I believe that applies mainly to phone data. Your home internet seems free of restrictions. Would you like to connect to the router using Ethernet and run another test? This will help determine if the issue is WiFi-related.

It's linked via Ethernet—just playing on it, but the router is right next to my PC, so it's not a big difference. @Donut417 We also have the same policy, but for business plans it's unlimited in practice.

I think it's a busy tower. It looks like you have a strong signal from there, which is the only idea that comes to mind. I see it in my neighborhood with T Mobile since I'm just two miles from Detroit Metro Airport. Many people are using phones here because they need to be picked up and so on. I should reach out to T Mobile to check if they can help, maybe because you have a business plan.

I'm based in a village of around 3,000 people where half are over 60, which is concerning. We have two towers and a new one, explaining the LTE+ availability. I don't think this is the main issue either. The problem seems to be with my computer, as I'm getting only 30 MB/s even though there are just two devices and the second one is my phone.

Well thats the thing about LTE, is not reliable. LTE like all wireless standards has never lived up to expectations. Also how do you know those towers are for T Mobile. Here in the US we have 4 big providers currently not to mention not all towers might be used for cellular purposes. Id contact your provider to see if there is maybe an issue on their end, just to be sure. Because generally if you dont get Full speed on Ethernet then its not an issue on your end. I mean it could be the hotspot device directly. But its going to be hard to say. If you know someone close by with the same service you can try testing their connection to see if they have the same issue. If that helps you narrow it down. But as it stands, there are limits to what LTE can do. Id be glad that your getting 30 Mbps. Thats acutally not that bad. There are people in rural areas of the US that only get 3 Mbps via aDSL.

I have many friends in Poland, and everyone uses T-Mobile—actually it's the only provider that doesn't charge a billion dollars for unlimited internet. There are some cool systems too, like about 90% of the towers are shared among all the main providers. While I was checking manually, I found four connections: T-Mobile (unlocked), Plus (locked), Orange (locked), and Play (locked). So I’m mostly using T-Mobile. I’m really happy I get 30mb/s, but it drops to 300kb/s in spikes—that’s my issue. Edited February 16, 2020 by Dominol2005

It seems like a possible network problem, possibly affecting all devices on your network. It might be related to T Mobile or the hotspot connection outside your control. If only one device is affected, the issue could be with that specific device. The main concern is checking the connection between the hotspot, T Mobile, and your network. Contacting them would be the best approach to verify if there’s a problem. If not, replacing the hotspot might be a good next step. Before spending money, consider reaching out to your ISP for assistance.

Only my computer is connected, achieving 30mb/s, while the router is delivering 30kb/s. I'll give it a shot.

Are there any other gadgets linked to your internet connection experiencing problems?
