Generally speaking, another game that I haven’t discussed is Black Ops 2, where previously I consistently achieved nearly 200 frames per second – currently, I frequently drop below 100.

I consistently shut down all active applications and refrained from utilizing the computer during the testing process.

Your computer appears to be operating normally; the slowdown you experienced might have resulted from updates within your games that enhanced graphics. Consider checking if any applications are restricting frame rates or examining whether VSync is activated. A 1070 graphics card should be able to run GTA V at low settings, but userbenchmark results suggest that the hardware itself is unlikely to be a significant factor—it probably stems from an issue within the game. Attempting a reinstall of the game could be beneficial.

Your computer appears to be functioning satisfactorily. I agree with Shektron and believe the problem may stem from something within the game itself. Attempting a reinstall could potentially resolve this situation.

A further possibility to investigate is overheating. Your graphics card might not be receiving adequate cooling, causing it to reduce its performance to prevent damage. This could explain why a standard test doesn't reveal problems, yet you’re experiencing issues during gameplay. You could either execute a stress test on your GPU to monitor its temperature while it’s under load, or alternatively, try capping the frame rate at 60 frames per second to see if that enhances stability.

Setting your display settings to “unlimited” essentially instructs the card to operate at its maximum capacity, regardless of whether it’s truly required. Additionally, ensure that no web browsers are running simultaneously, as modern browsers utilize GPU acceleration and can sometimes compete for control of the graphics card, leading to sporadic pauses when the system is being pushed to its limits.
