This problem began occurring following the version 10 release. Following this update, my game began consuming more than 9-10 gigabytes of memory, and I contacted support, receiving only instructions to reinstall the game – a solution that ultimately failed. After they suggested...

“Nevertheless, if you have completed all recommended troubleshooting and are still experiencing frame rate reductions, it’s possible that the issue stems from hardware limitations. Due to this understanding, Epic Player Support cannot provide further assistance with modifications related to your computer’s configuration.”

Is there a solution to this? It frequently occurs after approximately 30-40 minutes of gameplay and appears most often in the creative mode. However, it rarely happens on my personal islands. Frequently, Task Manager indicates “10GB” being used by Fortnite, though occasionally “unrealcefsubprocess” will show as the culprit, and ending that process temporarily resolves the problem, only for it to return after 10-15 minutes with Fortnite consuming even more memory. (Frame rates drop significantly, ranging from 1 to 10 frames per second.)

What is the display quality? What level of detail is desired? What motherboard model is being used?

My system settings are configured with minimal graphical adjustments, excluding view distance and 3D resolution set to maximum (100%), while my screen resolution is at 1920 x 1080 and I'm targeting a frame rate of 240. Occasionally, my frame rates reach 400-500 or even 600. Furthermore, I’ve experienced instances where the game spontaneously closes without any apparent memory-related problems, displaying error messages like “this application has crashed” or "application hang detected." Today, I tested it with GTA 5 and it failed twice after roughly 20-30 minutes of gameplay, only showing a launcher crash notification. My motherboard is an MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE AC.
