My computer won't boot into BIOS, only showing a blank screen?
I have some knowledge on systems, but still mostly a noob. This is a system from 2018 that was assembled for me. With some online help, I managed to remove all components, clean them and put them back in. I cleaned the AIO (NZXT Kraken I think) and the CPU (i7-8700K) with clean cotton swab dipped in 99% alchohol and got it all clean. Waited a few minutes, applied MX-4 paste and put the AIO back as per the steps and made sure that it is secure.
The PC booted with high temps of 99-100 degrees. I shut it off and opened the AIO and see that the paste is thinly distributed with most of the clogging at the sides. I recleaned it and reapplied and tried once more and this time the PC will not show up the bios screen, the monitor is dead. RAM GBU and the AIO lights are lit. I tried checking and ensuring that the AIO is secured properly to the CPU, still not working.

The CMOS battery had been similar last week with my 2019 system. Swapping it resolved the issue

Thank you for your update. I replaced it around 7 months ago and experienced boot issues before reading about them. Now it boots, but the CPU remains hot with high temperatures. I’m unsure if my installation was incorrect or if the AIO is outdated. Should I replace it and try again?
which aio model is this? where do you find the 100°C reading in the BIOS or under load? any overclocking has been performed? should the CMOS be reset to restore default settings? are the fans on the radiator spinning? eventually: can you hear the pump operating? is it connected to the pump header on the motherboard?
Hey there, your hero is here. I forgot the CPU fan connector and now it drops to 32-33, which is fine for Indian summers, thank you. It's still not over—booting isn't working with all four DIMMs in the slot. Only when I remove the first one can I get started. I'll try using RAM in different slots and will update soon. Thanks for all the help so far.
ensure the cooler isn't over-tightened
examine the motherboard's CPU socket for bent or discolored pins
inspect the CPU contacts for dirt or signs of wear
Update: The remaining three RAM sticks functioned properly when placed in slots 1, 2, and 3. After installing the problematic stick in slot 4, it appears to be working, even though it wasn't present before it was the sole RAM module on the PC. I verified that the system details still show full 32 GBs. The PC has been restarted several times now, and everything looks normal. Thank you all for your assistance.
