My computer freezes and restarts while gaming since upgrading my graphics card. I have run a benchmark which shows the GPU temperature ranging from 46.0 to 69.0°C with 99% utilization. The system specifications are: CPU i5-4460, GPU GeForce RTX 2060, 16GB RAM, and Windows 10. I am unable to identify the source of this issue.

The motherboard might be responsible for "HWInfo reading the voltages." I installed HWInfo on a Dell GTX 260 (old machine) and am not getting voltage readings either. Regardless, the reason I think the PSU is the main suspect at this point is that your temps are fine and it only freezes when you are gaming; it does not freeze at idle. Therefore, while gaming, your voltages may be dropping due to the load of the GPU/CPU and causing the freeze.

It is likely the power supply unit. What is the manufacturer and model number?

Monitor PSU voltages with HWInfo, measuring them under load and at idle. Voltages must stay within a ±5% tolerance of +12V, +5V, and +3.3V. Deviations outside this range may cause system crashes.

Locate the statistics; how should these be found? (You have downloaded HWiNFO64.)

Regrettably, I do not possess HWinfo installed.

I examined all options and did not locate it; should I install an alternative?

HWInfo reading the voltages is likely a function of the motherboard. I just installed HWInfo on a Dell GTX 260 (old machine) and I’m not getting voltage readings either. Regardless, the reason I think the PSU is the main suspect at this point is that your temps are fine, and it only freezes when you are gaming; it doesn't freeze at idle. So I’m thinking while gaming, your voltages may be dropping due to the load of the GPU/CPU and causing the freeze.

To resolve this, is a new power supply sufficient? Furthermore, the system froze and rebooted during use of Google Earth, which may be relevant to determining the cause.
