My computer struggles to play Minecraft smoothly.
My computer has an AMD FX-8320E processor and a GTX 1060 graphics card. When I play Minecraft with visual enhancements, my frame rate is typically between 30 and 40 frames per second. I understand that I am utilizing shaders, yet my system should be capable of running them effectively and achieving over 100 FPS. Furthermore, I want to emphasize that even without shaders, I achieve a frame rate of 70-100 FPS when playing the base game at high settings without any visual effects. For a considerable period, I believed that this discrepancy was due to a performance restriction.
It seems like we’re encountering a limitation… Your processor is quite outdated. Could you please check your temperature readings?
Temperatures are consistent and typical. When inactive, they measure 30 to 35 degrees Celsius. During operation, they range from approximately 40 to 65 degrees Celsius.
I believe my central processing unit is running at a higher frequency than its standard setting, and I don't recall the exact speed. My power supply unit is a 500-watt model manufactured by EVGA.
Could you tell me your render distance? I suggest keeping it below 8 chunks.
