My computer is running slow and I'm unsure of the cause.
Hello, I've experienced some issues with online gaming for about two years. It seems like lag appears in every game I play, even though my PC and internet connection look fine. Usually, I achieve around 240 fps with 10-15 ping, but I don't notice any consistent drops or stutters. I'm unsure what might be causing this problem. If you're aware of the cause or have a solution, please share it with me.
Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.
What online games do you play?
Wired or wireless network connectivity to your network router (or modem/router if combined)?
What particular games are involved?
PSU details: make, model, wattage, age, condition (original to build, new, refurbished, used)?
Disk drives information: make, model, capacity, current usage level?

Two quick actions to confirm:
1) Make sure just one network adapter is active on your PC. Since you’re using a wired connection, turn off any wireless adapters present.
2) Turn off IPv6 for the wired link.
Familiar with Task Manager and Resource Monitor? If not, begin monitoring system performance with these utilities—use each separately but only one at a time.
Goal is to understand what the system or PC is attempting or ceasing to do when you notice a game lagging.
Take your time, stay attentive, and record your observations.
Observed system behavior using Task Manager and Resource Monitor. Noted performance shifts during gaming sessions. Noted specific game(s) and source details.
