Yes, I have a TV that belongs to my parents, and they wouldn't want me bringing my PC to their room for testing. However, when I get home, I'll check what's happening with my monitor, which seems to be functioning normally. The monitor I bought in 2022 is acting up now. It turns on and off as expected, so it might not be a defect. Could the power supply be the issue? Also, I read five beeps online, thinking it might indicate a bad CPU. How do you determine if this is related to the monitor or GPU rather than a CPU problem just for curiosity?
Under DXE beep codes on page 12, no console output or input devices are detected. Five beep codes indicating CPU failure were found on Amibios, but you do not have Amibios installed; it has been phased out over about 12 years ago, and the current model is Ami Aptio V. Amibios does not support UEFI.
Wow, now I understand better. Thanks for clarifying! I wasn't very familiar with BIOS/UEFI and motherboards before, which made things a bit confusing. In fact, I believe this might be the key reason behind everything. In the video I shared earlier, when the motherboard beeped five times, the code "D6" showed up on the motherboard QCode, meaning the same issue as the five beeps: No Console Output Devices are found. Now I really think it could be my monitor. Since my PC beeps at home instead of a repair shop, it probably points to a faulty monitor.
In these situations, what should I do with my monitor? I don’t have much experience with monitors, but since it seems to work fine without any problems, it’s a bit unclear. Would it make sense to take it to the same repair shop so the technicians can check it out? By the way, this monitor was bought from that repair store.
