My computer game is frequently freezing, and my system’s temperature readings appear normal.
Hello everyone, I've recently been discussing my frame rate issues, and though I initially resolved those, I’m now encountering a separate issue: my games—particularly Fortnite—are frequently freezing and closing. I ran Core Temp diagnostics, which indicated average temperatures of 65-70 degrees Celsius, peaking at 75. The game itself crashed when temperatures reached approximately 67 degrees Celsius, suggesting that overheating isn’t the root cause. I have attempted reinstalling the game and other troubleshooting steps, leading me to believe that the problem lies with my graphics drivers. I attempted to remove and reinstall the drivers upon restarting, which may have unintentionally caused further complications. Any suggestions for resolving this would be very welcome. Here are my system specifications: Ryzen 5 1400, Corsair 8x2 running at 2933MHz, RX 580, and a B350M Bazooka motherboard. Thank you!
I neglected to note that my game frequently freezes during each match, typically within the initial five minutes, and this issue persists regardless of whether I’m engaged in combat or not.
