My computer frequently disconnects and reconnects USB devices while it's running. There might be a specific cause behind this behavior. Additionally, I have a powered hub connected directly to the motherboard.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Motherboard: ASUS Prime B-550-Plus
BIOS version for your motherboard?
You forgot to mention the make and model of your PSU and it's age. What OS are you working with? If you're on Windows OS, open Device Manager and see if anything is flagged with a yellow exclamation mark. If you do see your USB drive showing up as an unknown device, perhaps try and manually reinstall your chipset drivers in an elevated command.

USB devices I use are keyboard, mouse, headphones, a feedfforceback steering wheel, a joystick and a Xbox controller.
Are these devices hooked up to a USB hub? If so, please pass on a link to the hub in use.
