My computer feels slow and shaky right now.
I'm not sure which word to use right now. It feels like something is glitching inside my computer. I'll be watching a YouTube video, but it stops for a second and the sound keeps playing without stopping or going back. The audio doesn't match up with what I'm saying (that sounds okay). They're talking, but the voice is about 1.5 to 2 seconds ahead of when their lips move. Another thing happens too (I think this might be related) is that my mouse stops suddenly in the middle of scrolling or goes way too slow. Then something weird happens where any tiny touch moves it across the screen like it's gliding on ice. What is going on? Which part of my laptop could cause this, and what do I call this technical problem most importantly, how can I fix it? My PC is an ASUS ROG Strix GL702VS with a 1070 graphics card, over 500gb of SSD storage, and about 1tb of hard drive space.
I assume you're running Windows 10. Make sure to update your BIOS and check if your OS needs any updates too. Try opening Task Manager to see how much the computer is using memory and CPU. Then uninstall all old graphics drivers with DDU, then go to Nvidia's website and download new ones as an admin user just right-click the installer file to run it.
