Just reinstalling Windows might be the issue. It could be a specific program that's causing problems.

if you're not familiar with restoring Windows, I'm really unsure about the outcome. For this price range, you'd likely be looking at an RX 570/580 with 8GB RAM. These are very affordable (<$50) and still function adequately, which is a positive sign.

Choose an 8gb USB drive or bigger that's empty. Visit Microsoft's website and download the Windows Media Creation Tool (Windows 10). Follow the setup guide, pick the option to create a bootable USB. Insert the drive into the laptop and start it via BIOS settings or the boot menu prompt.
