My 9900k is running odd speeds.
i experience several freezings roughly every hour. i increased the overclock to 4.7, but due to the freezings i switched it back to intel stock in bios, yet the clock speed remains at 4.7 ghz. the stock speed of the 9900k is 3.7! this seems unusual. i also used xmp1 and disabled stock clocks.
How can I lower the speed? Your freezing shows an unstable chip, and your voltage is at 1.25V—should I increase it?
They function properly when left alone. The issue occurs when you interfere, but restoring it to automatic mode will resolve the problem.
