I've tried everything possible without success. Initially, I faced random shutdowns while playing, especially when loading maps in MW2. After updating the latest BIOS, the problem appeared resolved. I also refreshed my GPU drivers and upgraded to Windows 11, which required enabling TPM 2.0. Now I experience stuttering and lower FPS overall. My CPU spikes frequently—HWMonitor shows it exceeding its turbo speed, reaching up to 7.4GHz, which seems unusual. The VCORE reports a reading of 0.000v. To try fixing it, I rolled back the BIOS once, reinstalled all drivers, ran benchmarks and stress tests using CPU-Z and Intel’s diagnostic tool (both passed). Temperatures remain normal (CPU max 58°C during games). Any suggestions would be helpful!

Specs: I5-10400F, MSI B460M-A Pro board, Gigabyte GTX1660 Super, Corsair CX550, 2x8GB NVMe, Vengeance 3200 PSU.

Yes, it has been reverted to the initial version you attempted to resolve.

Do you have Windows 11 Virtualization Based Security activated? It may lower FPS and can affect certain monitoring tools that need to access CPU registers. Consider using HWiNFO for more details.

The rollback didn’t make any difference. I only reverted to the latest version after the second update, and I can definitely try going back to the original if needed.

You're incredibly insightful. While I was shutting it down to check, I recalled I had previously turned it on while adjusting settings, so I reverted it and tested again—now everything functions perfectly! The performance is smoother, with more consistent frame rates and the cores are operating stably on the system monitor. The only minor issue remains the voltage readings still showing 0.000v, which might have been normal before I noticed it. Thanks for your attention to detail!

HWiNFO suggests VBS and core isolation memory integrity settings may be more problematic than expected. A secure system isn't useful if it's not reliable or smooth to operate.
