Another consideration. I initially intended to power my NAS from the same PSU, but experience has shown that won't be feasible. The NAS will run a 1700 Ryzen with stock clock, GTX1650-S graphics card, SATA SSD, and switched access to the 5900X's HDDs. PCPP reports it draws around 308W, meaning a 450W unit would suffice. This configuration has operated on a CWT GPT500-SA for roughly five years, indicating it handles power demands well. Based on past experiences, interchangeability according to previous data seems unlikely given the wattage needs.

However, the Amazon employee strike could delay receiving the RX 7900 XT. Fortunately, a Best Buy nearby has a ThermalTake 700W unit for $50 and a Corsair CX650M for $65. Worth considering their value, and if not, what alternatives exist for a PSU?

The Thermaltake is likely a cheap Smart 80+ White or TR2. The CX650M offers better value for the extra $15. Is the MSI A550BN available, or Thermaltake Smart BM3, Adata XPG Pylon, Adata XPG Kyber?

Not at Best Buy, likely my only fast way to fix it is the ATM. Although it's not strictly necessary to get the NAS up and running, I prefer handling everything at once. I think the CX650M would be a good choice, as it shouldn't fail under a 200-300W load.

Well, everything is now resolved... after roughly four days of testing, adjusting, and fine-tuning, the child chose to reinstall Windows 10 Home and completely remove the previous versions. Now my friend is inquiring about Windows license keys. Since I only have Pro 64 keys, I simply advised him to search for affordable Windows keys online. His child will eventually discover that not everything is known yet.
