I checked the registry and removed the long numbers ending with .BAK. Then I moved any temporary profiles to C:Users. It looks like you didn’t cause any major issues, should be fine.

Removing profiles from the registry and folder structure functions but requires caution since the directory on the file system might not align with the username. The .bak file could actually hold the person's real profile on the system. Review the registry for the user's profile folder to confirm it matches the file system. If it matches, renaming both is advisable—create a new login and then transfer the data. If you deleted the .bak and that was their profile, all associated information is lost.

I accessed them again and it completed all the setup steps, likely generating a fresh account. The shared machine doesn’t have any personal files or settings.
