You're considering setting up a PC-based gaming server for your Sim Racing rigs. It's a viable option, especially if you want centralized management and cost savings. Running clients on the rigs with KVM or client CPUs can help streamline multiplayer or LAN setups. Let me know if you need more details!

The idea involves connecting several wheels, pedals, shifters, and other components to the same machine and adjusting each individually using software such as Mosa PIT House. While potentially more economical, managing all these peripherals could become extremely complicated.

Hardware costs don't increase proportionally with quantity. A small cluster of four devices is more economical than a single large server handling multiple game runs.

Consider four VMs with four GPUs, all linked via direct passthrough to each display. Set up USB passthrough as well.
