Hello everyone,

I’m utilizing two displays for gaming and I've been attempting to display games across both screens simultaneously, however, none of my installed titles offer an extended desktop feature for multiple monitors. Is it genuinely necessary to possess a three-screen configuration to achieve this functionality?

Thanks.

Questioning whether video games would necessitate three displays and lack dual-monitor functionality when utilizing extended mode....

Are you employing "WIN" plus "P" to choose a display option (single PC screen, mirroring, extending, or second screen exclusive)?
It’s unlikely that a three-monitor setup would be necessary.
Which games are you currently playing?
Could your GPU and displays’ specifications provide useful information?

It’s entirely reliant on your graphics card. AMD employs their Eyefinity technology, while Nvidia designates theirs as “Surround.” You’ll need to configure your monitors through these driver applications – AMD Adrenalin or Nvidia Control Panel. It’s uncertain if all your displays must maintain the identical resolution.

I haven’t yet tested the Win+P control in-game, but I intend to. It could potentially be the solution.

Alright, I attempted to use the Win+P key within the game, but it produced no effect – it simply returned me to my desktop. I’m uncertain whether employing a workaround, such as utilizing a widescreen resolution, might resolve this issue.

Using two monitors for games isn't a good idea; it will look awkward and the center of each screen will be obscured by the monitor edges.
