Hello, according to the title, connecting an auxiliary cord to the Z390-A Pro mobo isn’t possible. I’ve tested all six plugs, but nothing works. The settings and "more sound settings" panel remain empty. Although this board is intended for a surround sound setup, do I really need every plugin? Should I just have one cord running to my headset? My stereo + microphone cable is fine. Do I need a sound card, or can I use the USB headphones I already own? I’d rather use a wired auxiliary connection, but if wireless works, that’s okay too.

Does your audio driver need to be set up? I encountered problems with certain motherboards that failed to recognize connected devices unless the proper (often Realtek) driver was present, not just any Windows version.

I understood the issue. The driver didn’t work as expected. After some research, it seems certain MSI boards disable HD audio in BIOS. It only connects to the rear speaker port labeled "Rear Aux Port." When I plugged in my headphones, it worked, but since it wasn’t linked to the headphone jack, the mic wouldn’t function. The system indicated a front panel exists for this port, but it’s missing. There’s no built-in solution yet—could you adjust settings to avoid buying an aux splitter? The rear panel has audio input, so a splitter might help, and possibly future cases could include more ports.
