I’m facing some persistent issues with my build. After posting on several subreddits without any answers, I focused on the cables. Current situation: Once powered on, fans and RGB activate briefly before switching to VGA and Boot lights. The fans stay on even when left running, and the GPU heats up over time. This setup has been reliable since January 2021. My original build details are here: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xMK4F8. On June 9th, I upgraded to a 3080 from an RX 580 using a straight swap (no driver cleanup). Everything functioned well for a short while during Ace Combat 7. Sound dropped and headphones stopped working, the Bluetooth driver vanished. Windows checked hardware, re-established drives, and everything resolved. The next day it repeated with the same problem. While working without gaming, the issue returned and even affected Wi-Fi performance. Both drivers were missing; I resolved it with updates, firmware patches, and Windows updates. The real trouble started after a restart following the updates. On reboot, the PC failed to power back up and the VGA/Boot LEDs lit white. Despite a RAM firmware update, the memory LEDs stayed off, so I swapped RAM sticks—some worked, others didn’t. Eventually, after a full reset and BIOS updates, the GPU still wouldn’t boot properly. I tried troubleshooting the GPU, changed slots, used an older card, and even a full installation in the main slot, but nothing fixed it. Now I’m at a crossroads, needing help to get my desktop up and running again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. All cables seem properly seated, and the monitor is connected.

Have you managed to resolve this? You built a new PC, it worked for a while before suddenly crashing during gaming and not restarting. The system turns on but there’s no display output, and the VGA and boot debug lights are lit. Removed the GPU and tested it in another PC, which functioned perfectly, so the problem isn’t with the graphics card. The BIOS was flashed but nothing changed. Please assist.
