as mentioned, i was attempting to get his rig to run a 3600MHz RAM setup, but the BIOS installed only supported up to 3400MHz. Even after getting the 3700X and installing it, there were no issues. Clearly, if you update this board, support for Ryzen 2000 series and older CPUs will be removed.

Ordered a 3700x and shared it, which means you risk losing older support if you upgrade to the newest BIOS.
