I assisted my friend in setting up a new PC recently. The CPU EZ Debug indicator is flashing red during boot. System specs include a 13600K processor on a Z690-A motherboard, powered by a Kingston Fury BEAST RGB DDR5-5200MHz power supply with a Corsair RM650x. No GPU has been installed yet. We have replaced the CPU and RAM, ensured EPS and ATX power connections, jumped the clear CMOS pins, and updated the BIOS via the Flash BIOS port. While the red light was active, fans spun and RGB lights illuminated, and the CPU light turned solid red without entering a bootloop. After roughly five minutes, the red light ceased, along with the fans and debug indicator. This behavior seems unusual—please let me know if you need further clarification.

It must be due to the BIOS not allowing that CPU; you really didn’t have much choice.

Hi, thank you for your response. We'll attempt another USB connection but seem unlikely to succeed.

That’s essentially what it comes down to, honestly. Or you could bring the motherboard to a tech support center and get the BIOS updated there.

We're outside of America, lacking Micro Centres. Our plan is to install a Celeron G6900 and upgrade it accordingly.

We attempted to refresh the BIOS using the RAM, SSD, and HDD that were unplugged, but it didn’t work.
