MSI Pro H610M-E DDR4 doesn't recognize M.2 SSD device.
I recently purchased a motherboard, MSI Pro H610M-E DDR4. I want to install my old SSD "Colorful NVME M.2 128GB" made in China. It isn't showing up in the BIOS, which is confusing since the official site says it should work with the provided adapter. I'm not sure why this happens. Could someone help me out?

11-23-2016, 11:22 AM #3Yes, the NVMe SSD is set up in the M2 slot. I updated the BIOS settings and reset everything back to the original configuration. Didn’t you notice anything missing or unclear?

11-30-2016, 10:14 PM #4Your motherboard is compatible only with PCIe Gen 3 SSDs. Did you purchase this model recently, and was there any mention of whether it was new or refurbished on the product page?
I purchased it three years ago as a new unit, yet I don’t have any details about this SSD and it appears there’s no official website. Could it be that it’s outdated or not genuine? However, I saw some videos on YouTube where users installed operating systems on it using their laptops.

12-09-2016, 09:23 PM #8am i right in saying that there's no standoff under the ssd? Cuz if so then the pins on the m.2 might not be making good contact with the pcie interface to connect to the cpu
