MOBO: MSI PRO B660M-A WIFI DDR4 CPU, I5 12400F RAM, T-Force DDR4 RGB 3200 CL16 GPU, RTX 4060. It’s okay but better than GTX 1650 Mobile just to stay ahead online. Storage: NVME M.2 Samsung Evo 970 1TB, XMP enabled at 3200, CL levels 16-20-20-40-60—can it be improved? Second stick: what does “single” mean and is it using dual channel mode?

The stick setup involves arranging memory modules in specific patterns, or how each memory block is connected to the stick. A single module refers to a single rank or 1Rx8 configuration, and for certain reasons it may offer marginally lower performance compared to a dual-rank setup, though this difference isn't significant enough to be a major concern. In theory, you could boost performance by overclocking the memory and adjusting timings, but given your beginner level in PC building, it might not be the best starting point.

Previous stress test on 3600 performed well, lasting nearly 12 minutes with no issues.

It indicates dual-channel operation, while "single" describes the memory ranks mentioned earlier. I wouldn't bother; a few frames per second aren't worth sacrificing stability, unless you're into that kind of performance.
