MSI MEG X570 offers exceptional performance.
Hi, your question is clear. The MSI MEG X570 supports RAID 0, but it doesn't work with NVMe M.2 SSDs because of patent restrictions. That’s confirmed by Intel and others. For E-ATX boards compatible with NVMe M.2, you’ll need to check manufacturers like ASUS, MSI, or Gigabyte for models that explicitly list RAID support. It’s not an exclusive Intel feature, but it depends on the board design.
Hello @UDONTO. Yes, it seems to be compatible but MSI suggested updating the BIOS for optimal performance. See this: - MEG X570 GODLIKE : RAID with NVMe is noted in >>Manual<< p.17: " RAID: supports RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 10 for X570 Chipset SATA storage devices + supports RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 10 for M.2 NVMe storage devices ". By the way, why are you receiving a Godlike board? PS: Another excellent E-ATX with top VRM is the AORUS XTREME(X570) PS 2: These models include a PCI-Express 4.0 card that can accommodate more M.2 SSDs.
You're receiving an impressive setup because you're organizing a major project. Thanks for sharing the details. The idea of using PCIe ports for more M.2 SSDs is great, even if they aren't dedicated. Let me know if you'd like help with anything else!
