Hi, the MSI Mag Z690 Tomahawk only supports dual-channel RAM configurations. It doesn’t have support for quad channel or 32GB DDR4 at 3600MHz. Your idea of 2x16GB would work if you’re using dual channels, but not quad. Stick with the available options.

It includes four Simms, which is good, but using two sticks usually offers stronger stability, so combining two 16GB drives would be more effective.

Likely there isn't a quad channel option using Z690. Just to avoid guessing. Even with four identical sticks, they remain dual channel.

You can obtain Corsair 2 dummy sticks without RAM and still use RGB features for a better appearance.
