I'm curious if anyone has tried this before. I have a board arriving tomorrow and it's just an M2 chip on a PCIe slot. I'd like to remove the Qualcomm M2 and install it in the M2 2230 slot on my N7 B650E. I'm not sure how MSI assembled it or if it's really that complicated.

The sole fastener securing the card to the PCIe adapter is removable. Unplugging the antenna cables makes the process straightforward. The N7 B650E’s M.2 WiFi port is designed for easy removal. You’re fortunate; many other brands conceal the card inside the I/O cover, making it hard to reach.
