I have an MSI G41M P33 combo with BIOS 32.12. When I try to overclock the CPU (Q9505), I can set the base frequency higher than 333, but the PC restarts 3-4 times and reverts the changes. At 342 it reaches 2.94 GHz now that's weak! With base at 333 and RAM at 1334 MHz, the PC also restarts before changing speed again. Will the BIOS update fix this? How do I proceed?
Sorry for my poor English.

ahem anyone ?????????? i even did a bios update but still cannot set the base clock frequency above 342 !! i was thinking maybe cause my board only supports 1066 processors and 1333 proc needs an overclocking so the mobo overclocked my q9505 so it runs at 1333 and now no further overclocking can be done !! i could get my e7500 1066 at 3.4 easily !! so is it because my processer is already overclocked to its limit ?
