Yes, this motherboard should handle the 5600x and other processors in the line. The VRM performs adequately for 8 to 12 core chips, provided you don’t push it overclocked. The 16 core models will also function, though I wouldn’t suggest it without extra VRM cooling. Visit the site to check for available BIOS updates—there might already be a beta version for the 5600x. Make sure to look for BIOS Flashback capability, which lets you upgrade the BIOS without a CPU installed. If the motherboard lacks this feature, consider using an older compatible processor to apply the desired BIOS update.

The latest update is ready. Using 5600X with Gammax 300 should work without excessive issues.

The documentation doesn’t mention discontinuing support for the 1200AF model when updating. You can simply extract the installation to a USB drive, enter BIOS and select the update option. There’s no requirement for a BIOS flashback. If you prefer, you can proceed using the simpler method described in the manual, but upgrading to a new CPU would be unnecessary.
