I recently completed my newest build and am currently using it. It’s MSI B450M Mortar Max with BIOS from 2019-10-27, equipped with a Ryzen 5 2600 and 16GB RAM. When I first powered it on, there was no display coming from the motherboard HDMI output—only lights and fans active. After connecting a dedicated GPU and switching the cable to it, I finally got a display working. I checked the MSI BIOS Advanced Settings for "Integrated Graphics Configuration," but it wasn’t listed there. I’m unsure what’s missing to enable onboard graphics. The DDR4 is installed at 3000 MHz. How can I adjust it to recognize 3000 MHz instead of 2133?
Ryzen models without a built-in CPU require a dedicated GPU. The comments about RAM were from @alatron978.
I don’t have a specific guide available. You may need to consult the official MSI documentation or a trusted tech forum for instructions on reaching 3,000 MHz RAM on the MSI B450M Mortar Max.
