MSI B450 Tomahawk Max paired with 3600mhz RAM

Hey everyone! I'm placing my order for the parts and browsing the MSDS site for the B450 Tomahawk Max. I'm planning to use a Ryzen 7 3700X and need a TridentZ RGB 3600MHz CL18 8x2GB setup. The site mentions support up to 4133MHz, but I think that's mainly for the first and second generation Ryzen chips. Can a 3600MHz kit fit with a third generation CPU? Thanks!

I don’t know the source, but it covers any Ryzen chip as well. Regardless of what it doesn’t relate to the CPU. Yes

Additionally, QVL lists may not be fully accurate because they can't evaluate each kit or stick individually. Most kits should function adequately. Edited June 20, 2020 by TofuHaroto
