M2 Error Genie reappears after attempting a Windows boot with faulty M.2 SSD, hoping for a repair via format. It ends up setting your motherboard to Optane/RAID instead of AHCI, and even when switched back to AHCI it keeps restarting to RAID/Optane. The default SATA SSD for Windows boot is missing on this system but visible on another machine. How can I fix this? I’m running an Intel Core i7 6700K, not a 7th generation processor.
