I recently purchased a 144hz monitor and decided to secure my FPS using a Riva tuner for a better experience. I’m wondering if it’s possible to lock my FPS with MSI profiles for overclocking. Do the MSI profiles work for changing the core/mem clock, and can I switch profiles via a hot key? Also, since Starcraft 2 doesn’t accept my OC but other games do, does this suggest my overclock isn’t working well?

I recently purchased a 144hz monitor and decided I need to fix my FPS using Riva Tuner for a better experience. I’m wondering if it’s possible to use MSI profiles for overclocking. I have two profiles set up for stock core/mem clock, and my overclock has been tested in games like Heaven and Firestrike. Is there any risk of damage when switching profiles via a hot key? For instance, Starcraft 2 doesn’t seem to react negatively, while other games do. Does this mean my overclock isn’t effective? No, it should be completely safe to switch your profiles while using the monitor.
