Can we combine these tools for the intended uses? I prefer Afterburner's OSD but value the configuration for Overclocking on Precision X.

Yes, I applied an Asus GPU tweak to boost my 970 and used Afterburner for monitoring. I want to be clear that this involves a small adjustment. Regarding monitoring, I'm referring to the in-game OSD. I utilized Asus Tweaks logs to record raw data. It would have been equally possible to use MSI's Log function, which can be activated via the Monitoring section in its settings.

I used Asus GPU tweak to overclock my 970 and Afterburner for monitoring. I need to be clear that a small adjustment is required. Regarding monitoring, I’m referring to its in-game OSD. I utilized Asus Tweaks logs to record raw data. It would have been equally possible to use MSI’s Log function, which can be activated via the Monitoring tab in settings.

I just like how Afterburner provides most information without extra software, showing CPU temps and core usage—something I missed with Evga Precision X. I wanted to confirm it would function properly without triggering any issues from the overclocking tools.

Yes. I applied an Asus GPU tweak to boost my 970 and used Afterburner for monitoring. I need to be clear that it’s a small adjustment. For tracking purposes, I relied on the in-game OSD. I also kept Asus Tweaks logs to record raw data. It would have been just as simple to use MSI's Log function via the Monitoring section of its settings.
Oh, I just appreciate how Afterburner provides most information without extra programs. It displays CPU temperatures and core usage—something I didn’t see with Evga Precision X. I was just trying to confirm it wouldn’t trigger any issues with the two overclocking tools.
There won’t be any technical problems. One could even run Afterburner and Fraps together to verify FPS accuracy if needed.
