I've tried everything possible: checking the frame rate, enabling On-Screen Display in Afterburner and Riva Tuner, but nothing works. The counters aren't showing anywhere on the screen, and I'm certain it's not restricting my FPS (which is really important to me). I'm using version 4.2.0, anyone can assist?

Click the 'Apply' button at the bottom of the app screen. If you're restarting between tests, consider checking the 'Apply when system startup' option as well. Also, what is your current FPS? It might be set to max at 60 or 120, so changes won't affect it.
