I recently assembled my gaming setup from scratch. Now I'm making adjustments. I encountered an issue with SSD Syndrome—my Windows 8.1 OS is installed on a 120 SSD, while I still have a 1TB HDD for general storage (OS on SSD, mass storage on HDD). The challenge is moving user folders from the SSD to the HDD. They suggest right-clicking each folder, going to properties, then location tab, and changing the path to something like D:/Users/Deuel18/Folders. I followed their steps, and the transfer seemed to complete smoothly. My SSD still shows the same data usage, and the HDD remains completely empty. Any advice would be appreciated.

SyncToy from Microsoft offers a convenient way to sync folders. You choose where to transfer the contents to a new spot, relocating all files there. It simplifies copying large amounts of data and lets you pick the move option. Try it out—it really helps save time moving files across your network.
