When you drag a window across your screen, it shows up as gray outlines marking the path. This behavior seems to have changed over time—especially on Windows 10. I’m not sure if this is normal, but it might be worth checking how your system handles dragging windows.
Under "Adjust the look and feel of windows," select the best option.
Launch the computer by opening "this pc" in Windows 8.1. Click on "This PC" in the sidebar, then select properties. Navigate to advanced system settings, go under performance, adjust settings, and enable the option to show window contents while dragging. Finalize changes by clicking apply or OK.
